The Faith Exchange

Updated: Oct 27, 2021

Having and exercising faith in God brings into our lives all the benefits of salvation (Ephesians 2:8,9). Those benefits include healing, prosperity, peace, love, joy (1 Peter 1:8), deliverance from demons and the curse, sanctification of the mind and emotions (the salvation of our soul) and all of God’s promises.

Be fully aware that having unwavering faith will be tested, as we have read about faith tests time and time again in the bible. When you live a life of faith you can expect difficulties and persecutions, as well as blessings. Some fire tested faith examples would be of the three Hebrew boys in the bible, Daniel in the lions den, Joseph in the pit, Abram becoming a father and the children of Israel being delivered from Egypt to name a few.

Faith is the spiritual force through which our ministry (we all have a ministry) for Christ becomes effective. (Mark 11:23; Matthew 17:19,20). Faith is the major key to a successful Christian life. What we listen to affects what we believe. If we listen to the TV or negative people more than to the Word, we will believe the lies of the world more than we will believe what God says. Constant attention to lies will produce deception. Eventually the mind will accept what is heard often enough and persuasively enough. That is why we should keep hearing the Word of God and stay connected to positive people where God’s word of iron sharpening iron can ring true in our lives.

When we develop and stretch our faith through belief in God regardless of our emotions and physical circumstances, we are exchanging our belief for HIS promises. I like to call this the Faith exchange.

Prayer:

Father God, I declare my faith in You! Guard my heart today by the power of the Holy Spirit. Shelter my faith as I stand boldly on your promises. I lift up my heart and I choose to rejoice in that you will increase my faith… prove my faith genuine… and shield me by your power today! “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!” In the strong name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

In HIS Loving Service,
