I have to say as an encourager we too need encouragement and probably more so then one would think. I have come to the realization that I have gotten into my own head for several months now. I have fallen off the wagon as they say. For months now I have been out of sorts, allowed old emotions to fester and resurface and have not stuck with the lifestyle change I had work so hard to maintain for myself. I have tried to make things happen in and of my own will. One thing I have maintained however is my prayer life. Praise GOD for that divine connection. While I have not always stayed attuned as I should to the spirit I have continually prayed. In being so diligent the LORD was gracious enough to allow enough pressure to cause me to get still and truly know that HE is GOD and in full control, I have readjusted to HIS plan. I have settled my spirit down and reminded myself of who and whose I am. It is so true it starts with the mind. My prayers have changed to prayers with purpose. I have returned to commanding my day, going into the courts of heaven because as a child of GOD I have that divine privilege and claiming/expecting HIS promises. My actions have readjusted to HIS plan with great expectancy. Just like for example our cars need maintenance so do we. We have to take inventory at times and make sure we are on course and make any appropriate adjustments. The only way Noah, Abraham, Jonah and many more could have accomplished what they did was by making necessary adjustments to God’s plans. Most of us are familiar with their circumstances, think for a moment how things would have been had they not made the needed the adjustments. No matter who we are in order to live in the center of God’s will we all have to make adjustments in our thinking, attitude and actions. We live in an evil world, in our fleshly bodies and will always need to seek God’s purpose. We adjust by our willingness to trust God beyond what we think, see or feel. Sometimes this will be costly, awkward or even painful. It may mean changing location or company – we cannot afford not to, we must push forward through our faith crisis. God usually gives us just a glimpse which is all a part of the trust process. Faith is all about placing our trust in God for whatever, whenever and however period. Try these 7 steps to help

  1. Don’t Depend on You (Proverbs 3:5)

  2. Cry out to God (Psalm 55:17)

  3. Run from Evil (Proverbs 3:7)

  4. Put God First in Your Life (Proverbs 3:6)

  5. Check Yourself by God’s Word (Jeremiah 17:9)

  6. Listen to the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 1:14)

  7. Rest in God’s Love (Proverbs 3:12)
